well hello here i am again. i just whipped up some great 3 course meal for myself, salad main and dessert. prep was no joke. i spent more than 20 minutes trying to whip the whippee cream not realising that that was the biggest volume it could get to. and then i got my hand scalded by the baking tin that was fresh from the oven (what an idiot). i also got my fish (dory by the way) stuck to the non-stick pan and got my shirt splattered with oil because i wasn't wearing an apron. and all that for what? 15 minutes of indulgence in the finest food in the whole of france..okay okay yeah right. but the biggest irony was that the dessert which took me the longest to make disappeared the fastest. hee hee. ilove it...oeuf en meurette. something gerald taught us last year for french cooking class. i miss it...I MISS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH LAST YEAR!! except for the o'levels. and if i haven't told you before, he sold his restaurant monaco to his employees for a grand total of......one dollar.

anyway, i got a letter from carol today. she said she visited the ancient egyptian art exhibition from the louvre over at taiwan. mmMm..sounds interesting. and the fact that there were MUMMIES. MMM. well, speaking of that...one of these days...i really really should visit the louvre musuem...and then wander through the saint honorais...oh how lovely...

all apricots reserve their right to be eaten
all peaches plead to be savoured
and the apricots and peaches agree that together, they make the perfect dessert
and indeed, they did.
